Martial Arts
Jeff began training in Martial Arts in 1984. Over the years he's studied various
arts from many different teachers throughout the country. He's had the privilege
of training with some of the best instructors in the world. He started teaching
martial arts as an assistant karate instructor in the 1980s. In 2000 he began
teaching adults and children at Atlantic Martial Arts and in 2001 he took over
the schools when the owner moved to Colorado. In 2002 he merged his schools with
the Baltimore Martial Arts Academy, where he is presently the Head Aikido
Instructor. Jeff also teaches self-defense and assists in the instruction of
other classes at the Academy including the Mixed Martial Arts program
Over the past decade Jeff has taught Aikido and self-defense to active members
of the US Army, US Marine Corps, US Air Force, Federal Police, US Secret
Service, Maryland State Police, Maryland State Transportation Authority Police,
Baltimore County Police, Baltimore City Police, Howard County Police, Anne
Arundel County Police, members of various other Federal, State, and local law
enforcement agencies, correctional officers, bail bondsman, executive
bodyguards, private security guards, security personnel in psychiatric
hospitals, and many others.

Jeff presently teaches classes in Catonsville, Maryland and does occassionally teach private or small group lessons by appointment. Jeff also
actively educates the public through events and speaking engagements on self-defense, street/campus safety, rape prevention, and other similar topics.
