For over a dozen years Jeff has worked as a consultant, either independently or through agencies. He's started and run numerous companies over the years. Entrepreneurship seems to be in his blood. But his knowledge is not limited to smaller businesses, as he's spent more than five years of his career consulting in large corporations and organizations, including Black & Decker and Johns Hopkins Medical Institutions.

As an Information Technology and Management consultant Jeff has worked with dozens of satisified companies and organizations, including several public school systems, the military, state and local government, several Fortune 500 companies, many non-profit organizations, a half-dozen high-tech start-ups, and everything in between.

He has vast experience in business and technology, and specializes in providing hands-on management guidance and establishing total Internet presence for growing businesses, with emphasis on creating or increasing revenue through Internet sources. Jeff has worked with Internet technologies since their inception in the early 1990s. He is considered a foremost authority on large-scale, multi-tier web and database design. Jeff is also well known for his creativity in designing new products and Internet marketing campaigns. In 1999 Jeff started a software development and information technology consulting company. In 2006 Jeff sold majority interest in that company, Mavenspire, Inc. and retired from the technology marketplace. Later in the same year he founded Mims Innovations to provide leadership and success coaching to individuals and small to medium size businesses.

Today Jeff is highly selective in the clients he takes on for personal consultation. Prospective clients must be highly motivated and ready to take their business to the next level.
