Jeff has been immersed in the software and technology industry for over 18 years. He's been managing technical projects, programs, departments, and companies for over 14 years. He's worked as an entrepreneur and consultant for much of his career, but he's also spent much of his time as a consultant in large corporations and organizations, including Black & Decker, Johns Hopkins Medical Institutions, and Federal/State Government agencies.

As an Information Technology and Management consultant Jeff has worked with dozens of satisified companies and organizations, including several public school systems, DoD, state and local government, several Fortune 500 companies, many non-profit organizations, a half-dozen high-tech start-ups, and everything in between.

Jeff has worked with Internet technologies since their inception in the early 1990s. He has been considered a foremost authority on large-scale, multi-tier web and database design. Jeff is also extremely well-versed in technology project management, information security, network infrastructure, and also has been recognized for his expertise in SEO, PPC, and Internet Marketing.

In 1999 Jeff started a software development and information technology consulting company. In 2006 Jeff sold majority interest in that company, Mavenspire, Inc. and took a break from the technology marketplace in order to pursue marketing-related ventures. Later in the same year he founded Mims Innovations to manage an array of internet media. Several months later he established a consulting group within Mims Innovations to provide a both technical development services and digital marketing solutions.

In addition to his Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Jeff has earned numerous industry certifications including PMP, MCSE, MCP+Internet, CDIA, and several others.
