About Jeff

Jeff is a seasoned executive, writer, coach, and entrepreneur whose current pursuits include creating more lucrative Internet presence for small and medium businesses, as well as providing leadership toward better health and fitness in the United States and abroad. After retiring from the software development field and leaving his post as CEO of a technology consulting company at the age of 30, following the divesture of his successful enterprise, he moved on to become a mentor and coach for those seeking change in their personal and professional lives.

He is the Executive Director of Mims Innovations, Inc., a Management Consulting and Internet Services company that helps small and medium-sized businesses obtain maximum business effect from the Internet. He also serves as an executive business consultant with Mims Innovations.

Jeff is the author of several books, including The Relax Factor and co-author of the upcoming book Three Weeks to Thrive, a 21-day, step-by-step guide toward achieving a healthy lifestyle. In addition he is the founder of the fitness web site FitDaily.com, the moderator of the FitIn3 Newsletter, the Head Aikido Instructor for the Baltimore Martial Arts Academy, and also a professional fitness coach, consultant, and trainer. In his fitness career he has touched the lives of hundreds of people, helping them to achieve their fitness goals without quick-fixes or suffering.

Jeff graduated from Calvert Hall College High School and earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Towson University in Maryland. Over the years he has earned numerous professional certifications in the fields of technology, management, fitness/exercise, emergency medicine/rescue, and martial arts. He is a former fire fighter, an avid SCUBA diver, a terrible golfer, a professional photographer, a mediocre investor, and he also dabbles in writing science-fiction and fantasy under a pseudonym. Jeff is convinced that he could be far more productive if he could figure out how to clone himself.
